Crime Project (Development)

A 2-part retrospective interview and archive-driven two-part true crime/investigative narrative set in Korea that I developed, pitched, and directed with Make Waves Media

About me and my work

I am a Producer/Director (self-shooting) with a strong track record of working on some of the world's most-watched TV for platforms such as Netflix, A&E, HBO, Nat Geo Al Jazeera and Sky. I have extensive experience working in sensitive environments, with potentially vulnerable contributors, alongside law enforcement, investigative journalists and overseas. I am very comfortable working on projects with legal sensitivities, where good judgment is paramount. First and foremost, I feel proud of my work when contributors are proud of their contributions.

But I don't just make serious TV. I have also series-directed an 8-part food and travel series for Channel News Asia and DV-directed shows like C5's Happy Campers as well as shooting producing and directing short-form content for NGOs like WWF.

As an AP and shooting AP, I have worked on series including HBO's true crime series The Talwars: Behind Closed Doors, which won Best Documentary Series at the Asian Academy Awards, and CNA’s historical documentary Marcos: The Man and the Myth, which was part of the award-winning series The Asian Century.

As well as shooting in the US I have shot extensively across Asia and I lived and worked in TV production/development in Singapore for a number of years.

I have also edited and edit-produced dozens of broadcast shows, which I believe has made me a better director.

I started my career working as a camera operator and DIT on Sky's Monkey World and I love all forms of filmmaking. I am very happy working across many roles, so if you need a shooting PD, producer or just some research/development please feel free to get in contact.
